My philosophy on exercise is “Make the time to exercise now, or you’ll be forced to take a break from your life in five, ten, or twenty years when you end up in a hospital bed.” We all know that being physically active contributes to maintaining good health, yet many of us feel so busy and stressed in our lives that exercise seems like just one more thing we don’t have the time or energy to do. I’m here to tell you that you need to make time. And when you do, your production of NO will go through the roof.
And you don’t have to become an Olympic athlete to get this benefit. All it takes to gain dramatic benefits is 20 minutes of sustained exercise, three times a week. Anyone can do that! No matter what your current fitness level, as long as you do something more than you are currently doing, you’re making progress – and you are producing more NO. That’s right, one of the main reasons that exercise is so beneficial, especially for heart health, is that it stimulates increased production of NO.
The cardiovascular health benefits of exercise have been discussed for years, and they are backed up by extensive scientific research. Exercise can lower your blood pressure, bring down your cholesterol levels, fight the buildup of arterial plaque, strengthen your heart, decrease your risk of certain cancers, reduce your risk of developing type II (adult-onset) diabetes, improve the quality of your sleep, and even help you lose excess weight. Is that enough reason for you to exercise?
Combined with my Say Yes to NO supplements and nutrition programs, exercise can produce massive improvements in your overall cardiovascular health. And it doesn’t require a huge sacrifice on your part. Just pick something that you find fun. It’s not all about lifting weights or running marathons.
Consider these options that can help boost your NO and protect your heart:
Walking Pilates
Jogging Cross-country skiing
Bicycling Jumping rope
Swimming Rollerblading
Tennis Rowing
Squash Gardening
Basketball Dancing
Yoga
I know that you can enjoy and stick with at least one of these heart-healthy activities. Just be sure to do at least 20 minutes a day, a minimum of three days a week. Once you get started, you’ll love the results so much that you will never want to stop

Isn’t it natural for us to believe we are healthy and not suffering from any disease? I had a similar thought process until my physician asked me to get a heart scan done after he found that my basic cardiograms were not perfect. I discovered that there were calcium deposits in my coronary arteries and I was at a serious risk of a heart attack. It was only because of not having a regular exercise. It was then when I realized the importance of the exercise. And depression is really a feeling that no one would ever like to face. And its impact on my life seemed to come in this way. I was shocked and went ahead with the Cardiologist's suggestion of an advanced diagnostic scan. Though it’s always tough to undergo such experiences, I was not at any kind of discomfort at the Elitehealth.com advanced heart scan facility. I am not an expert in medical appliance and machines but could feel that the equipment was world-class and I was in safe hands. That feeling is really very important for me and that’s how it actually went on. The facilities for Full Body Scan were as good as they can get.
